reading and spelling activities

Orthograf presents 6 reading and spelling activities. The program includes a large number of files with words and sentences. You can mix and match these files to make new files. 

Each activity approaches the fast recognition or reproduction of words and sentences:

• Words and sentences are written;
• words and sentences are spoken (only if there are sound files available);
• partial words and sentences are to be completed;
• a word or sentence slides past a visual window;
• letters of a word or words of a sentences light up briefly on a screen;
• a word or a sentence are obscured by bars;
• parts of a word need to be put together;
• match a word to a word image consisting of letters and dots.

You can adjust several factors, such as:

• Speed;
• time interval to observe details;
• time interval between Presentation of details and doing the associated task;
• letter combinations;
• manual control;
• …

Beginning readers have the option of using a keyboard with lower case letters. The main menu shows the number of exercises completed, the score and the time spent for each activity.
