trains the knowledge of the alphabet

Alfabet is a letter grouping program. The program offers several different activities for arranging letters in order and one activity for looking up words in a dictionary. There are two levels of difficulty. On screen help is available.

The ordering activities offered are:

• completing a list of letters by filling in the missing letters;
• sorting a group of letters or words in alphabetical order;
• inserting a letter or word in a list of sorted letters or words;
• decipher a secret message using a deciphering key;
• sorting words in categories using key-words;

The user can choose to work in upper or lower case letters.
